Hiya pals, I came across Iveren Ivy Aondosoo, a teen-bassador like us who was only glad to share some excerpts from her daily life’s journey with us. I assure you there’s a lot to learn from this awesome character who I just got acquainted with… as usual, sit down, relax (snack on some pop-corn if you like), read and enjoy the ride… Here’s her first:

Good morning dear diary (stretching and yawning to wake), today’s my first day on A-T-4-G’s blog, I’m pretty excited ehn, hope I’d keep up the swag, you know how we do now #wink wink# First of all, lemme go clean up… see y’all in a bit!

Isaiah heard the voice of the Lord asking “whom shall I send, and who will go for us”, and Isaiah answered, “here I am, send me Lord.” (Isaiah 6:8)

The past three weeks had been a series of weird events, more spiritual than not, seeing dreams and locating visions here and there. Naturally, I’m not someone to take any action other than pray about such issues and let it go, probably forget about it #face covered# Some days ago, I received a divine unction to deliver a message to my parents… at first I was reluctant (maybe not because I wanted to be a Jonah or rather a Jonahress) but probably because at that moment I had no time plus I thought well, they were also strong in the faith, God would talk to them too if He means it for them. O oh, there goes the wrong perspective, not until recently did I discover my mistake. To continue with the story now…

On two different occasions (in my sleep), I saw some of my loved ones who I had lost to death through motor accidents come back to life. Hmmm, I won’t deceive you dear diary, I was scared and very disturbed as to what these dreams might mean. I knew what Pharoah must have felt when he had those dreams about fat and thin cows – hehehe! Well, I thank God for sending my Joseph, who explained to me that these dreams signified total restoration upon me, mine and all that concerns me. And just like Pharaoh’s, the second one was an affirmation of the promise.

However, this wasn’t the end of the situation; my task now was to relate this message to my family. While studying the Bible, I was also pressed to deliver these words from Isaiah 61:7-9 to them:

Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs. “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” (NIV)

Hmmm, my dear diary, do you know I was still procrastinating this assignment. In fact, I didn’t even wonna go at all. The more I wasted time, things got worse. I decided to carve out time to accomplish my assignment. You won’t believe this, after I delivered this message, it took only a few hours (precisely from the night till morning) and a lot of things began to happen, open doors from all sides, instant favour and a lot more. Above all, I am glad to tell you my parents were more than overwhelmed and encouraged by this message. Twas then a part of me began to feel bad, I imagined how it would have been if I accomplished this assignment weeks before, they’d have been happier a long time ago. But oh well, everything turned out great.

This experience has taught me to pay attention, listen keenly and go instantly when God sends me. From now on, when Ivy hears the voice of the Lord, I would say here I am Lord, yes – send ME!

See you some other time sweet diary; promise to keep you posted as usual! (but please pardon if I don’t come back soon enough, you know how busy this life gets…)

Yours always,

King’s princess: Ivy
